- "50 years from now, only the memories will matter"

Chose your photographer with 50 years in mind...

It is the job of a portrait photographer to take pictures of individuals or groups of people either in a studio or on location. Some portrait photographers specialize in weddings, religious ceremonies or school photographs, while others run their own studios and take pictures of families, friends, children, or pets, whatever you want them to photograph really.

A photo portrait is not just a snapshot of someone’s face; it is more about a person’s likeness. A good portrait should express the person’s inner self, attitudes and personality by capturing the face and body in different ways. The aim of a portrait photograph is to tell us something about the subject.

As your photographer, I will make a commitment to you that you will be treated as if you are my only client. I am never too busy to talk to you on the phone about your plans or meet with you in person. I’ll try to answer any and all of your questions – but feel free to e-mail them before we meet if you’re just dying to know something that I haven’t covered!

In any portrait session, I try to capture the true emotion and details behind anyone I am shooting. A majority of my sessions are location based. Meaning they are shot outdoors with natural backdrops. This is my preferred setting for a photo shoot. I don’t really like to “stage” shots. Where is the emotion and fun in that! I just let you go out and “be yourself”. There is nothing better than someone just enjoying themselves and me just “happening” to be there to capture the moment.

I will always try to make your portrait sitting as fun and comfortable as possible. My main goal and the thing I love most about portrait sessions is that it gives me a chance to get to know you. The better I know you, the better the chance I will have to capture your emotion. I understand that my job is to provide you with the most professional service and beautiful, timeless images that speak to your individuality. I would be thrilled and honored to discuss your portrait plans
