Pricing and Guidelines

The focus of my portrait photography is to create distinctive portraits that capture the unique personality and character of each portrait subject. I shoot both environmental/lifestyle portraits - shot on location inside your home or business, on athletic fields, or in the great outdoors - and studio portraits in my studio (depending on office, either downtown West Palm Beach, Florida or Boulder, Colorado).

RECEIVING YOUR IMAGES

Within 48 hours after the end of the shoot, all usable images from the session will be posted in a private password protected gallery on this website. You will be provided with a direct link to your gallery and have the ability to see all images and select images you wish to retouch. Within 10 business days, a DVD with selected retouched and all other unretouched images will available to you. The DVD will include High-Resolution JPG images as well as re-sized and web optimized copies of the original images for you to upload to the web or email to friends and family. The DVD may be shipped directly to you or picked up personally. All unretouched images will be color-optimized and ready for printing. Retouched images will have blemishes removed, skin retouched, sharpened for print, and other adjustments as specified. Raw images and other formats (TIFF, PSD, etc) are available upon request for an additional fee.

The images delivered on your DVD are your digital "negatives". Although we back them up, please keep your copy safe! If you need a replacement DVD, it can be provided for a small fee. Typically, we assist you in the printing and mounting process. If you wish to take your disk to a printer where they can print, mount and frame your photos, as these are your images, you have all rights to do so. You have total control of the finished product. You have copy of everything, and retain all rights for your personal use. We will archive and keep copies of your images for a minimum of 12 months. Should your disks ever get lost, stolen or destroyed, we can reproduce them for you.

RE-SHOOT POLICY

Our goal is 100% satisfaction. Our definition of a re-shoot is as follows: "Re-doing the same shot, with the same wardrobe, same make up, same vibe because you are not satisfied with the initial results". Our feeling is that if you included any of images from the oritinal shot in your portfolio, website, Facebook, Myspace, Twitter or anything like that, then you have demonstrated that you are completely satisfied with your images. That said, we offer you a 15 day grace period from the date you reveive your DVD to let us know that you are not 100% satisfied. If a re-shoot is necessary, it will be done in a timely manner upon discussion with you. To date, we have have never had anyone requesting a re-shoot due to dissatisfaction. In a few cases, the customer has requested a re-shoot when they actually desired a NEW Shoot. They wanted more photos with different hair, different wardrobe, different context, or all of the above. We realize that this a very personal journey and a learning process. We want our clients to walk away happy. Depending on the circumstances, we will do our best to offer a new shoot within 1 month of the first shoot at 1/2 price of the original.
